Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and NavBharatAI ("we", "us") governing your use of the NavBharatAI website, mobile applications and every product inside them — NavBharatAI Free, NavBharatAI Pro (the AI app builder), the Professionals assistants, the Nav App Store, and the developer tools (the "Platform").
Please read them. The short version of the most important points: the apps you build belong to you; tokens are prepaid usage credit, not money in a bank; a build that fails is not charged; you may not use the Platform to harm anyone; AI output must be verified before you rely on it; and the clinical assistant is a support tool for doctors, never a doctor.
By creating an account or using the Platform you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Platform for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
1. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Sign-in is through Google, Apple or mobile OTP. Keep your login method secure — actions taken from your signed-in account are treated as yours.
- One person may not operate a swarm of accounts to farm free allowances; we may merge or close such accounts.
- You must give accurate information (for example, a real phone number you control).
2. The service — what we promise and what we do not
- NavBharatAI builds real, working software from your descriptions, previews it, stores it durably, and helps you ship it (hosting, domains, APK/AAB, the Nav App Store). We put unusual engineering effort into honesty: the Platform reports real success and real failure, and a build that was supposed to produce an app and did not succeed is not charged.
- The Platform is provided "as is". We do not promise uninterrupted availability, that every build will be perfect, or that AI output will be correct. What we do promise is honest reporting and continuous repair.
- We may add, change or retire features. If a change materially reduces something you paid for, Section 4 (refunds) explains how we put that right.
3. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the Platform to create, host, publish or distribute:
- anything illegal under Indian law, or content that facilitates crime;
- malware, spyware, phishing pages, credential-harvesting flows, or apps that deceive their users about what they do;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or trade secrets;
- sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance; reported to authorities), or non-consensual intimate content;
- harassment, doxxing, or incitement of violence against any person or group;
- spam infrastructure, artificial engagement farms, or bulk unsolicited messaging;
- attempts to break, probe or overload the Platform itself, other than good-faith security research under our disclosure policy (see the Security page);
- resale of the raw underlying AI capacity, or automated scraping of the Platform.
We may remove content, suspend builds, or close accounts that break these rules — with notice where the law and safety allow it.
If you believe something on NavBharatAI breaks these rules, or that we have wrongly acted against you, our Grievance Redressal page names the officer who handles complaints and the timelines we must answer within.
If you are using NavBharatAI as a business and need the processor terms, they are in our Data Processing Agreement; our security practices are at Security at NavBharatAI.
4. Tokens, wallet and billing
- Tokens are prepaid usage credit. They are consumed by builds and AI actions according to the tier you choose. They are not legal tender, earn no interest, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Honest metering. Usage is billed from real, measured consumption. Two standing consumer-protection rules are built into the Platform: a failed build is never charged, and where usage cannot be measured, nothing is charged.
- Gift/welcome tokens (for example a sign-up bonus) are promotional, have no cash value, may expire on notice, and are consumed before purchased tokens.
- Purchases are processed by Cashfree Payments. Prices are shown in ₹ (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. If a payment succeeds but crediting is interrupted (for example you closed the app mid-UPI), the Platform automatically reconciles and credits it on your next sign-in — paid money is never silently lost.
- Refunds. The full rules, including cancellation and what to do about a duplicate or unrecognised payment, are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: a successful payment is final and non-refundable, whether or not the tokens have been spent — because your first payment delivers two things at once and immediately: the tokens, and a permanent upgrade of your account that unlocks every build tier and survives your balance reaching zero. What you get instead of a refund window is built into the Platform: a failed build is never charged, unmeasurable usage is never charged, and if a Platform defect consumed tokens without delivering what was promised we re-credit those tokens — in credit, not in money, with no time limit. A duplicate charge and a payment that took money without delivering any credit are not refunds and are corrected in full. Statutory rights under Indian consumer law are not limited by this paragraph.
- Plans (for example the Custom Domain plan) renew as described at purchase, from your wallet, with advance reminders; a lapsed plan suspends only the plan's feature (your app and files are never deleted for a lapsed plan).
- We may change pricing prospectively; changes never apply retroactively to tokens you already hold.
5. Your content and your apps — ownership
- You own what you make. The apps you build with NavBharatAI — their code, content and assets — are yours. We claim no ownership over your built apps, your prompts, or your uploaded files.
- Licence to us. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to store, process, display, back up, build, preview and (when you ask) deploy or publish your content. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the retention windows in the Privacy Policy.
- Your responsibility. You confirm you have the rights to what you upload (code, images, music, data) and that your apps comply with law and with Section 3.
- Your apps' users are yours. Apps you build run on your own connected services (your Supabase/Firebase/database accounts — by design, never ours) and you are the data controller for their users. You are responsible for your app's own legal pages; NavBharatAI can generate drafts for you.
- Platform materials. The Platform's own code, brand, and interface remain ours. The optional "made by NavBharatAI" badge on built apps can be turned off in Settings.
6. The Nav App Store
- Publishing requires a signed app package; every upload is malware-scanned and manually reviewed before it can appear. No scan ⇒ no publication — a missing or failed scan blocks listing, it is never skipped.
- You confirm you have full rights to every app you publish, and that its listing is truthful.
- We may reject or remove any app that breaks Section 3, appears unsafe, or is the subject of a credible rights complaint. Removal deletes the hosted package bytes — a takedown is real.
- Publishing is free today; if that ever changes, existing listings will not be charged retroactively.
- Complaints: rights holders can write to info@navbharatai.com with the listing link and evidence; we act on credible complaints quickly.
7. AI output — the honest rules
- AI-generated answers, code, documents and designs can be wrong, incomplete or outdated despite our engineering. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it — especially anything involving money, health, law or safety.
- AI output may resemble output produced for others, because similar prompts can produce similar results; we cannot guarantee uniqueness.
- Professional assistants are not professionals. The Lawyer AI is not your lawyer; the Teacher AI is not an examiner; and most importantly:
7.1 Doctor AI / Senior Doctor Assistant (web)
- It is a clinical decision-support tool intended for qualified, registered medical practitioners, available on the web Platform. It is not available for patients' self-diagnosis, and it is not offered in our Android app.
- It does not practise medicine. All diagnoses, prescriptions and treatment decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating physician. Nothing it produces is a medical service, a prescription, or advice to a patient.
- If you are not a qualified doctor, do not use it for medical decisions; in an emergency contact real emergency services immediately.
- Doctors using it are responsible for patient consent as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
Your use of connected third parties — your GitHub account, your database provider, Cashfree's payment pages, app stores that distribute apps you build — is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, though we choose and monitor our own suppliers with care.
9. Suspension and termination
- By you: you can stop using the Platform any time, and delete your account (Privacy Policy Section 9). Unused purchased tokens within the refund window are refunded on request.
- By us: we may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, create legal risk, or abuse the Platform (including free-allowance farming or attacking the service). Where the breach is not dangerous, we will warn first. On termination for our convenience (not for your breach), we refund unused purchased tokens.
- After termination, your right to use the Platform ends; the Privacy Policy governs what happens to data.
10. Disclaimers and limits on our liability
To the maximum extent Indian law allows:
- the Platform is provided as-is and as-available, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement;
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss — lost profits, lost business, lost data caused by third-party services you connected, or the conduct of users of apps you built;
- our total aggregate liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in that period, or (b) ₹5,000;
- nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, including liability for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of your content, your app, or your breach of these Terms (for example, you published someone else's copyrighted app on the Nav App Store), you agree to indemnify us for the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs. We will notify you of any such claim and let you participate in its defence.
12. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-forum rights the law gives you at your own location.
- Before going to court, write to info@navbharatai.com — most issues are fixed faster by a human than by a filing. We commit to a substantive reply within 15 days for formal disputes.
13. Miscellaneous
- Changes. We may update these Terms; material changes are announced in-app before taking effect, and the "Last updated" date always tells the truth. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in a business transfer (with notice, and never to reduce your protections).
- Severability. If a clause is held unenforceable, the rest survive.
- Entire agreement. These Terms + the Privacy Policy (+ the DPA, if your organisation signs one) are the entire agreement — no verbal promise changes them.
- Contact. info@navbharatai.com.
